Military Precision

The death of Ronald Wilson Reagan has brought an end to a very important chapter of American history.  As I have watched the events of the days following his death there is one thing that has stood out as a tribute that we all should be proud to witness.

From the General that has been the personal escort for Nancy Reagan to the last Seaman Honor Guard member there has been a display of Military Precision second to none.  The performances of many US Military bands and choral groups have been spectacular.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all those military members that took part in the various ceremonies and give them a hearty Well Done.

As a retired Navy Master Chief, I have seen many ceremonies and helped countless times with them.  I know the hard work and dedication it takes to take part in these events and do a good job.

You, the service men and women, through your hard work, precision and talent have helped to provide a very fitting tribute to the 93 year life of our fortieth President of the United States of America.

Thank you,
Mike Meehan

I ask that anyone that knows a member of one of the military groups that took part in these ceremonies, please forward this message to them for me.  Thank you for your help.
